Club Lighthouse is the children's club of River City Church and is open to children of primary school age from all backgrounds and traditions. The Club aims to encourage the children towards a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Each child is cherished and encouraged as an individual and taught that God has a purpose for each one of us.
The Club lighthouse team are made up of mainly young people each of whom is a committed Christian. The team operate under our Child protection guidelines and each year take part in a mission trip where they bring the club to another part of the country.
All New Club Lighthouse!
From the first club of 2010 (Friday 15th) there will be two different events running on a Friday night to cater for the different age groups.
7--8.30pm ‘Club Lighthouse’. The new format will cater for primary school age children P1 to P7 and will include games, Bible teaching, videos, quizzes, memory verses, drama and dance.
8.30-10pm ‘The Lighthouse’. This new youth event will minister to secondary school age youth and will centre around a live band with small groups, video teaching, testimonies and epilogues.
