Do you know the Way?

Each year over the last six years we have been blessed by the visit of the Son Rise Ministries team from North Carolina USA. John, Rene and Darleen have brought a ministry which has both challenged and inspired local Christians to awake to their calling to maturity and fruitfulness in Christ. The teaching on faith and the true meaning of salvation have impacted many lives and this past week of ministry meetings in November have resulted in a great strengthening of the church. It is our intention to podcast these tremendous messages from this and previous years on this site.

Some of the truths that came forth through the ministry of the Holy Spirit could be summed up here in a series of statements.

Meetings in Church should be setting free meetings for where the truth is ministered in power, people will be set free.

Rituals do not change a man. We come here to meet God and anything less will not change us.

Your throne for God is your praise….so how big is your throne. Make room for God by filling your life with His praises.

When we first came to the Lord we did not come because we loved Him, but because we needed Him. So how far down the way of love are you? Do you still come to Him because you need Him or because you love Him? Do you simply spend time worshipping Him because it is merely a method to get His attention or because it is a true expression of how you think of Him…worthy of your best.

God does not help us to live a better life. He does not hep us live our life at all. He only helps us die to our life and live His life, for His life is not the life of fear and unbelief and sin, but love, joy, peace and victory.

If I grow in His nature I cannot help but overcome.

I do not have to ask “What would Jesus do?”, (as if He is somewhere else and I have to figure out what would He do if He were here). If I am being filled with His life, His Spirit, if I am living in communion with Him, then His mind is my mind and I do the things Jesus does for He lives in me.

God does not help us to be like Christ in our strength, He produces His life in us as we receive Him by faith

• We were built for intimacy with God. If we do not find love with Him, we will search for it in all the wrong places.
• We were built for the power of God. If we do not find it in Him we will search for power in all the wrong places.

There is a transition to take place on the inside of you… from you to Him.

The tribulation that comes against ‘poor little me’ is to reveal to me how much of me is still ‘poor little me’. If I am complaining or arguing it is not Christ’s life in me that complains.

Don’t worry about your tribulations. They are shrinking you and growing Him as you have faith in the midst of them.

Life does not come forth without sacrifice. Intercession is laying down your life so that his life would come forth.
